Meet "Harry"
A Great Blue Huron.
Harry is very territorial.
His "turf" is the public beach
just north of the old jetty at John's Pass
Maderia Beach, FL.
Harry the Huron Close Up
Harry Flies
Harry hangs out there
waiting for a fisherman to throw him a fish
too small to put in the frying pan.
Somtimes he lurks in the wild grass
growing on the dunes behind the beach.
Huron in the grass #1
It's late March and
Harry is in full breeding plumage.
But that's no reason
to hide in the tall grass!
